The healthy grocery store is expected to open March 11 on Concord Pike.

Sprouts Farmers Market is coming to Wilmington this spring. The healthy grocery store is set for a March 11 opening. Located at 4801 Concord Pike, the 30,000 square foot store is another addition to the company’s East Coast footprint. One of the fastest-growing retailers in the country, the grocery store brings fresh, natural and organic foods to customers.

"The Wilmington Sprouts marks the newest location in our eastern expansion and follows the tremendous success of our nearby Philadelphia store," said Dan Croce, Senior Vice President of Store Operations, in a news release. "We're looking forward to serving our new neighbors in Wilmington and nearby Chester and Delaware Counties with healthy groceries at great prices."

The new store will bring approximately 140 full- and part-time career opportunities to the area. Sprouts’ “Healthy Living for Less” approach to grocery shopping means the company wants team members to share a passion for healthy eating and the fresh, natural and organic products offered throughout the store, according to a news release.

Sprouts will host a hiring fair with open interviews for potential team members on Thursday, Jan. 23 and Friday, Jan. 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Doubletree Wilmington, located at 4727 Concord Pike. Applicants are encouraged to bring a copy of their resume and will have the opportunity to speak directly with the Sprouts hiring team about available positions.
