On February 2, 2020 at 3:30 pm PT, the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs duel in Miami for the Lombardi Trophy in what is slated to be one of the more exciting championship games in recent history.

For the mega-fans of each team, this game holds a lot of significance — measured in championship rings, banners, and memorabilia. For every other person not associated with the teams, the game represents an opportunity to binge eat without judgement. No matter which crowd you hail from, the Big Game is one that even fans want to make sure they get right.

While we aren’t here to offer up good buffalo chicken dip recipes (you can ask Alexa for help with that one), we can help you make sure that you have what you need to enjoy the game.

How to watch the game for free

NFL is offering the game for free on the NFL app. All you have to do is download the app, login or create an account, and start streaming for free.

This option will be available to customers in the U.S. who own a Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Edition Smart TVs, and Fire TV Edition Sound Bars.

FOX Sports App

FOX is also offering the game in 4K Ultra HD via the FOX Sports App — no cable subscription required. Just download the app and watch the pre-show and game, live and for free. The broadcast is available to all Fire TV, Fire TV Edition Smart TV, and Fire TV Edition Sound Bar customers in the U.S.

Remember, your TV and your streaming device must support 4K in order to watch the game in 4K Ultra HD, otherwise the game will be in HD, which will still look great.

How to watch the game and all the live TV you want

There are more ways to watch the game with a subscription. The following apps also include options that allow you to explore the benefits of a live TV subscription to stay up-to-date with your favorite sports and live shows all year long.

Sling TV

Sling TV is a super customizable platform that allows you to add and revise your subscription based on what you enjoy. With either the Blue or Orange+Blue bundles. FOX is available in select markets when subscribed to Sling Blue or Sling Orange + Blue services. Check to see current markets that offer FOX here.

Download the Sling TV app on your Fire TV today to get started ahead of game time.

YouTube TV

Last year the official YouTube app launched on Fire TV, but did you also know that the YouTube TV app launched too? YouTube TV is a great option for watching the game. In addition to 70+ top channels, YouTube TV is the only streaming TV service to offer free unlimited DVR space to let you watch and record on your own terms.

Download the YouTube TV app to your Fire TV device, login and launch it from your device. From the app, you can navigate to FOX to watch commentary and the live game as well. Additionally, you can also record the game and any commentary or analysis you want to watch later from the app on your Fire TV.

Hulu + Live TV

Watch the Big Game on Hulu + Live TV, which gives you access to your favorite live sports, news, and events, from 65+ top channels. Plus, get access to Hulu’s entire streaming library including the hottest shows, movies and exclusive Originals. You can also record up to 50 hours of game and analysis (and more) on your cloud DVR, and watch at-home or on-the-go!

Login to Hulu + Live TV on your Fire TV to queue up the action this Sunday.

With this subscription, hundreds of channels including live sports are available to stream any time. FOX is available on fuboTV, so streaming the Big Game is easy. Plus, you can watch the game through fubo in 4K if you have a 4K supported device.

Once you have the fuboTV app for Fire TV downloaded and launched, simply login and navigate to FOX to launch live streaming, and to get your party started.

Similar to Sling, FOX is available in designated markets. Check out available in your market here.

Over-the-air antenna

Since FOX is the broadcaster, you can easily watch the Big Game in real time with a simple HD antenna that plugs into your television. With Fire TV Recast, our over-the-air DVR, and your HD antenna, you can watch live games and programming, as well as record up to 75 hours of live TV to watch whenever is convenient for you (including re-watching your favorite in-game moments after everyone has left the party). Further, your Fire TV Recast is Alexa-enabled, so you can ask your device to record and search other shows, and for recordings on the fly. Get your own here.

Whether you’re in it for your team, for your appetite, for the friends, or all of the above, we’re happy to help play an important role in making sure everyone enjoys the game.
